Create a separate Marketplace account within your existing management account

go to https //aws amazon com/console/ and connect to your management/root user account search and go to aws organizations once on the organizations page, click "add an aws account" fill aws account name marketplace email youremail+marketplace\@yourdomain com iam role name marketplace click "create aws account" refresh the page 🔄 your new marketplace account should appear save the email address you used for this account creation (youremail+marketplace\@yourdomain com) sign out from your aws account (by clicking on your name on the top right of the account) connect to https //aws amazon com/console/ with the newly created account sign in using root user email select "root user" email address youremail+marketplace\@yourdomain com click "next" cick on "forget password " proceed to password recovery steps (captcha, recovery email link ) and connect to the account ⚠️ register your mfa (even if not mandatory now, it is a requirement for later better do it now ) congratulations 🥳 you just created separate marketplace account within your existing management account
